Booked!

Hey everyone,

 

Great news! The plane tickets are booked and we are ready to roll! If you want, and if you still have the prayer cards, you can adjust the dates to June 29-July 31.

 

Throughout these past few months I have learned a lot about dealing with disappointment and putting absolutely all of my faith in God, trusting that HE will provide and be faithful. Well, He has, and I am so thankful! I’m pretty much a control freak so it was really hard to just say, “ok God, your will, not mine,” and that’s one more thing God has gotten me through.

Gearing up for another try

Hello everyone,

 

We have been praying about another opportunity for Ellen to travel to Liberia before her teacher, Christie, returns in August. It seems God has opened a door. When the trip fell through in March, we began praying about the possibility for Ellen to travel over to Africa with Christie’s mother. Janice Bigelow is a wonderful Christian woman who has an incredible servant’s heart. She had planned to go to Liberia several years ago but her trip was canceled because of the civil war. I can think of no better person to send Ellen to Africa with.

 

We are now gearing up for a second run at all the plane tickets, travel visas, etc. We’ll plan for travel in July. Please join us in prayer about this opportunity. There is no earthly reason why we should not be able to pull it together. In many ways this timing and these circumstances could be much more favorable.
